Hizbul commander killed in Kupwara gunfight

A gunfight erupted on Tuesday between holed up militants and security forces Kashmir\'s Kupwara district.

SRINAGAR: A local commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) outfit was killed on Tuesday in a gunfight between holed up militants and security forces in Kashmir's Kupwara district.

"A top local HM commander identified as Sameer Wani, was killed in the encounter in Nagri village," a senior police officer told IANS.
