Three Hizbul Militants Killed, Infiltration Attempt Foiled 

Three alleged Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in  South Kashmir’s Tral area in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday even as the Army foiled an infiltration bid along Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of North Kashmir, killing a militant. The encounter took place in Mir Mohalla of Dadasara village, Tral in South Kashmir’s  Pulwama district. The deceased were identified as Ashiq Hussain Bhat, Mohammad  Isaac Parray alias Newton and Asif Ahmad Mir alias Chotu, all residents of Pulwama.  Three  AK-47 rifles and some ammunition were recovered.

Now, Desai Threatens to Enter Nashik Siva Temple Sanctorum   

Now.jpgAfter she led an agitation demanding  entry for women at the holy platform at Shani Shingnapur shrine, Bhoomata Brigade president Trupti Desai has announced that she will try to enter the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Shiva temple at Tryambakeshwar near Nashik on Monday on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. Women are not allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum at the temple by tradition. “We are fighting for equal rights to women. We will enter the sanctum sanctorum on Monday,” Desai said.
