KULGAM, Jammu & Kashmir: Security forces carried out combing operations at Buchru in Kulgam District of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday where a militant was killed yesterday and a defence personnel was injured in an encounter.
Security forces are sweeping the area to ensure there are no remaining holed up terrorists.
Yesterday, the security forces had launched a search operation in a village in Kulgam after suspected militants fired a few rounds at them.
