Maoists blow up rail track in Bokaro district

BOKARO (Jharkhand): Maoist rebels blew up a stretch of a railway track between Jhumra hills and Lugu Pahadi in Bokaro district, affecting train services, police said.

Bokaro Superintendent of Police Y S Ramesh told reporters that the left-wing extremists blew up the tracks late last night. Railway sources said that repair work was going on.
