Kulbhushan Jadhav: Delhi police detain protesters near Pakistan High Commission

More than two dozen people were detained by the Delhi police on Tuesday who were protesting near the Pakistan High Commission.

NEW DELHI: More than two dozen people were detained by the Delhi police on Tuesday who were protesting near the Pakistan High Commission.

According to the police people holding placards and shouting slogans, the protesters gathered to show solidarity for Kulbhushan Yadav, Indian citizen who has been sentenced death sentence by a Pakistani court.

“We detained 18 people in the morning, who were moving towards the Pakistan High Commission, we let them of later” said a police official.

A Pakistan military court sentenced Jadhav to death after he was convicted of "espionage and sabotage activities”.
