Telangana youngster drowned in river Ganga in Uttarakhand

HYDERABAD: A Telangana youngster, who was pursuing agriculture course in DSB University in Dehradun, drowned in River Ganga in Gangotri in Uttarakhand on Friday.

The 22-year-old B Narahari from Miryalguda town of Nalgonda district was studying final year Bsc agriculture in DSB University, Dehradun.

According to reports received by his family, the youngster had gone for a pilgrimage to Uttara Kasi and nearby area. He drowned in the river Ganges while taking a bath, before offering prayers.

Narahari's body has been fished out. It would be flown to Hyderabad by today evening.

Narahari's father Mallaiah, who works in a pesticide store at Miryalguda, wanted his son to become an agriculture officer, family members said.
