Janardan Singh and his son Anoop Singh's story is the Monday motivation we are all looking for. Anoop Singh recently took charge as Superintendent of Police in Lucknow and his inspiration is none other than his father Janadan Singh, who is a police constable at the Vibhuti Khand police station. Here, the son is the boss to the father. Isn't it dramatic enough to be a movie already?
It was indeed a rewarding moment for the father to work under his son. As per the protocol, now Janardan would salute his son whenever he sees him on duty. "It feels good to work under him," said Janardan Singh. Anoop Singh is his only son and he can't feel any prouder.
A proud Janardhan feels it will be an honour to work under his son. "I feel proud to have my son as my senior. It's an honour for me. It will be good to work under him. I will salute him just like I would do to greet any other officer," he was quoted as saying by NDTV.
Anoop Singh was more than elated to work along with his father, who brought him up as a successful person despite financial crunches in the family. They live under the same roof in Lucknow. It is going to be a trying time for Anoop at work to face his father as a senior officer. However, he made it clear that their professional equation would not be affected by their personal relationship.
This is not the first time where the child overshadowed the father. In Telangana, Deputy Commissioner of Police A.R. Umamaheswara Sarma came face to face with his daughter Sindhu Sarma, who is the SP of Jagtiyal district of Telangana, during a TRS event and saluted his daughter, the senior officer.
