JEE-Advanced to be held on August 23: HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’

The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on May 17, but was deferred due to the coronavirus lockdown.

NEW DELHI:  The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced will be conducted on August 23, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said on Thursday.The exam, which to be held on May 17, was deferred due to lockdown. 

Earlier this week, the government had announced to hold JEE-Mains from July 18 to July 23. Only top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE-Mains can  sit for the advanced exam.
