The Railway board is very keen that none of the developmental projects should be introduced in long distance trains to south India. The trains in this sector from Delhi to Chennai take at least 35 hours. but the new facilities will never be introduced in this sector. The slowest trains run in this sector. None of the infrastructures like dedicated freight corridor are allowed to reach Chennai. The new proposal for the dedicated freight corridor stop with Vijayawada. It is time that the railway board gives up the anti south particularly anti Tamil Nadu attitude.
