Marketmen said tepid demand from retailers againstsufficient stocks position on increased supplies fromproducing belts mainly kept pressure on gram, kabuli gram andother pulses.
Lower enquiries from dal mills also weighed on prices,they said.
In the national capital, gram eased further to Rs 5,250-5,550 from previous level of Rs 5,600-5,900 per quintal. Itsdal local and best quality lost Rs 400 each to Rs 5,800-6,200and Rs 6,200-6,300 per quintal, respectively.
Kabuli gram small variety shed Rs 100 to Rs 9,200-10,400per quintal.
Urad and its dal chilka local also declined by Rs 100each to Rs 4,300-5,600 and Rs 5,200-5,300 per quintal,respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit andenquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 5,300-5,800 and Rs5,700-5,900 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold too weakened by Rs 50 each to Rs3,550-3,650 and Rs 3,600-3,750 per quintal. Its dal local andbest quality moved down by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,700-4,200 andRs 3,800-4,300 per quintal. (MORE) PTI SUN KPS ADIMKJ.
