Jammu, Oct 14 (PTI) Union minister Jitendra Singh saidtoday that the Union government would soon open Post OfficePassport Seva Kendras in all the districts across the country.

Singh said two such kendras have been opened in Kargiland Udhampur, and soon two more would be opened in Kathua andBaramulla.

Addressing a gathering after inaugurating a PassportAdalat-cum Mela in Jammu, he said the 'adalats' were beingorganised to resolve grievances and ensure transparency.

He said a passport kendra would be set up in Jammu forwhich land has been identified and work will be started soon.

Regional Passport Officer Vimarsh Aryan said the PassportAdalat was organised to clear applications pending.

The Seva Kendra registered 240 applications today and hasissued more than 37,000 passports this year, Aryan said. PTIABABH.
