The session began emotionally as Borgohain recalled his nearly two-decade association with Zubeen Garg, noting he was first approached only to compose music for the film.
The decision followed by RTI applications filed against his brother Shyamkanu Mahanta, who was arrested, along with six others, in connection with music icon Zubeen Garg’s mysterious death.
Reacting to the statement, Congress MP and Assam Congress president Gaurav Gogoi urged the chief minister to share the evidence if it was indeed a murder.
