An Israeli official said the Allenby crossing on the Jordan–West Bank border will reopen on Wednesday, allowing aid trucks to reach Gaza for the first time since September.
One year into a shaky ceasefire on this heavily fortified border, Israel’s government says most of those displaced have returned to their homes in the North.
The ceasefire’s second stage includes deploying an international force to secure Gaza and forming a temporary Palestinian government overseen by a board led by Trump.
