Speaking at the state-level workshop on UNNATI and RAMP schemes, Manipur CM N Biren Singh said that the state has the highest number of MSME business registrations in the northeastern region.
Addressing a gathering of internally displaced persons at the CM secretariat, Biren Singh stated that the ongoing ethnic violence is "very unfortunate."
Responding to Congress's statement, the Manipur CM said that his apology was a "sincere act of expressing grief" for the citizens who have been displaced by the ethnic conflict.
Singh also claimed that there has been relative peace in the state in the last three-four months, which gives him hope that normalcy will be restored in the new year.
