Sakthi Mariamman College signs an MoU with BSNL’s RTTC for training programmes

Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College (SMEC), Chennai, has signed an MoU with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) — Regional Telecom Training Centre (RTTC), Chennai on February 18. R Rajsekaran, Chairman, SMEC; R Arunkumaran, Vice-Chairman, SMEC; N Natarajan, Secretary of SMEC; N Rajagopal, PRO, SMEC; S Ramakrishnan, Principal of SMEC and D Lakshmi, HoD of ECE, represented the college. Officials from BSNL-RTTC include Nirmala Subramaniam, Principal, BSNL-RTTC, Chennai; D Sridharan, Divisional Engineer, and R Baskar, Sub Divisional Engineer. Students will attend various training programmes on recent telecommunication technology and will be able to develop their knowledge in the area of specialisation enabling easy placements.
