St. Vincent’s Matriculation HSS ‘A’ defeated AVM MHSS 37-21 to move into the semifinals of the SVS inter school basketball tournament here on Wednesday.They will take on PS Senior Senior Secondary School next.

Karnataka slumped to their second defeat when they went down to Kerala by 27 runs. In another match, medium-pacer Soujanya Nath captured 5 for 20 to star in Hyderabad’s thumping nine-wicket win over hosts Andhra. This was the second successive win for Hyderabad.
