Sports scribe passes away

M-Z-Tanveer

M Z Tanveer, Senior Sports Correspondent, Deccan Chronicle, passed away on Wednesday morning following a massive heart attack. He was 35. The end came a little after 9 am. 

After a game of football, a game that he loved and wrote about, he complained of uneasiness and was rushed to a hospital in Chetpet where the doctors tried in vain to resuscitate him. He is survived by wife & eight-month-old daughter. TNSJA condoled his death.
