On Dubai tournament and chances

It should be very tough tournament as the top eight players of the world will be there. Every match will be important. This is my sixth edition. In 2011 I was the finalist and twice I have reached the semifinals.

On her preparations and experience

It is not about experience it is about how you play on that particular day. It is how well you have prepared. Of course, experience comes in handy in tight situations.

On her training in Bengaluru with Vimal

We have trained very well for three weeks. This year’s schedule has been very hectic with a lot of  big tournaments. These three weeks were good for me and I have done a lot of homework for this tournament along with Vimal Sir. Hopefully, I can play better and win this tournament.

On new players and tournaments

Every tournament is a fresh challenge. There is a lot of competition. Many young players have become a threat and every player wants to beat the other. A player has to be ready. Confidence is there after the China Open. We have to really work very hard to win. The good thing is that new crop of players are emerging from different countries.
