Punjab Thrash TN

Shubman Gill’s unbeaten double century (263 not out) paved the way for Punjab to beat Tamil Nadu by an innings and 368 runs in the Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19) Group  B match at Patiala.

Brief scores: Punjab 536/9 decl in 144 ovs (Shubman Gill 263 no, Ikjot Singh Thind 78, Mayank Markande 138; RS Jaganath Sinivas 5-79) bt Tamil Nadu 71 in 45.1 ovs (Akul Pratap Pandove 5-22) & 97 in 59.2 ovs (Jasinder Singh 3-11).
