CHENNAI: ICF defeated Chennai Customs 2-0 in a Senior Division match of the St Joseph’s–CFA football league at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium.

Results: Senior division: ICF 2 (S Karthick 6th, U Jeyakumar 10th) bt Chennai Customs 0. Best player: Jeyakumar (ICF); Arrows FC 0 drew with Indian Bank 0. Best player: Leonceal Bretto (Indian Bank). First Division: MSU  2 (Hems Krishnan 25th & 46th) bt YMSC.

Summer Camp

Chennai St Bede’s Sports Foundation (CSSF) will be conducting a summer cricket coaching camp at the St Bede’s grounds from April 1 to May 30 for boys in the age group of 6 to 19 years. Volley Tournament

Nellai Friends Volleyball Club and Dr Sivanthi Club will be conducting the 42nd P John Memorial All-India volleyball tournament from March 24 to 29 at Mayor Radhakrishnan stadium, Egmore, Chennai. In the men’s section the teams will be divided into 2 groups and top two finishers will qualify for semifinals.

All the matches will be played under best of 5 sets. In women’s section, every team has to play every other team on a round robin league basis. SRM University is the defending champion in the men’s segment, while KESB won the women’s crown last year.
