CHENNAI: R Anirudh Seshadhri’s century (126 retired) helped City I bag a lead of 62 runs over Districts I in the drawn final of the TNCA Round Robin U-14 match played at Murugappa grounds.

Brief scores: Districts I 234/7 in 90 ovs (ND Hari Shankar 66, D Santhosh Kumar 59, Neyan Shyam Kangayan 54; Arya Yohan Menon 3/26) drew with City I 296/5 in 90 ovs (R Anirudh Seshadhri 126, John Tarun George 71 n.o, R Vimal Khumar 55).

VM Sandeep defeated Kanishk Pal 6-0, 6-7 (6-7), 6-1 in the boys’ U-14 finals of the HCL tennis junior tour Chennai leg. In the girls U-14 category, Viveha Sivaraman defeated Joshika Premkumar 6-4, 6-0 to bag the title.
