I'm not in Pakistan to seek job: Moores

FormerEngland coach Peter Moores has made it clear that his recent visit to Pakistanhas nothing to do with any job with the cricket establishment here, but hedidn't rule out a consultative role in the future.

Moores said hehad been specially invited by the Pakistan Cricket Board to meet with boardofficials and former players and have a look at the existing domestic structureas well as the system under which the national and regional academies werebeing run.

"I think Ihave come here to have a look and get views of some former greats like JavedMiandad and Intikhab Alam. I have come here to listen and learn and find outwhat happens and see how I can help move thing forward in Pakistan cricket,"Moores said.

"I think thefirst thing for a coach is to listen and it would be wrong to think you can walkin suddenly and give your views. There is lot of expertise in Pakistan cricketand lots of information is already here. The key is to listen and know if thereis anything I can add to that which would probably be structural," hesaid.

Moores, who isnow coach of the Lancashire team and has worked as head coach of the Englandteam and as director of the ECB academy, said there was already a huge amountof passion for cricket among PCB officials.

"I am notpart of the system here I can come here and give an opinion but I need sometime to look and find out what is going on and then you start to evolve a wayforward. Answers will come from people here," he added.

He agreed thatPakistan cricket needed to keep on looking at ways to improve its domesticstructure as it is key to being a successful cricket nation.
