Hyderabad Win Last Tie vs Goa

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad salvaged some lost pride by humbling Goa by seven wickets at RGIS, Uppal, to record their only win in the South Zone Subbaiah Pillai one-day tournament on Thursday. Goa, however, made it to the pre-quarters for the first time ever. Karnataka’s match against Kerala at Gymkhana and Tamil Nadu-Andhra tie at AOC Ground were abandoned due to wet conditions.

Brief scores: Goa 170 in 33.3 ovs (CV Milind 4/21) lost to Hyderabad 171/3 in 32.5 ovs (GH Vihari 67, Ravi Teja 51).
