AUSTRALIA— India Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat Tuesday in the tri-series limited-overs international against England at Brisbane's Gabba ground.

India is without prolific batsman Rohit Sharma, who has a sore hamstring, and will instead bring Ambati Rayudu into the lineup, while allrounder Stuart Binny replaces Ravichandran Ashwin.

England made one change to its side, with James Anderson returning to the order at the expense of Chris Jordan.
