Supreme Court panel suspended Gurunath Meiyappan life from being involved in activities related to any type of cricket matches. Meiyappan was also declared ineligible for participation in any cricket activities for 5 years by the panel.
Meiyappan's betting activities brought the game to disrepute and bad name to BCCI, IPL and cricket, said the Justice Lodha panel.
