NEW DELHI: Pranav Dhanawade had another moment to cherish after scoring a record breaking 1009 when Sachin Tenduklar gifted the Mumbai schoolboy his autographed bat.
"Master Blaster @sachin_rt gifts his own autographed bat to #PranavDhanawade for his record breaking innings," the BCCI confirmed Tendulkar's gesture in a tweet.
Tendulkar was quick to congratulate 15-year-old Dhanawade on his mind-boggling knock of 1009 in a school game on Tuesday.
"Congrats #PranavDhanawade on being the first ever to score 1000 runs in an innings. Well done and work hard. You need to scale new peaks!" Tendulkar had tweeted on Tuesday.
