TNCA City Schools under-14 tournament: Aman steals show in Bhavan’s win

Aman Bhatnagar’s 7 for 8 paved the way for Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram to beat Pon Vidyashram by 104 runs in the TNCA City Schools under-14 tournament for B Somasundaram Trophy.

CHENNAI: Aman Bhatnagar’s 7 for 8 paved the way for Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram to beat Pon Vidyashram by 104 runs in the TNCA City Schools under-14 tournament for B Somasundaram Trophy. Batting first, Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram posted 130/9 in 26 overs. In reply, Pon Vidyashram were bundled out for a paltry 26. 

In another match, Anirudh Krishnan’s all-round performance (111 & 4/11) helped GT Aloha Vidhya Mandir get the better of Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School (MCCHSS) by 111 runs.

TNCA selection trials postponed
The proposed selection trials of city teams to participate in the under-14 selection tournament scheduled to be held between August 1 and 4 has been postponed. Players who have registered with the TNCA for the selections will be intimated as and when the fresh dates are fixed, as per a release from the TNCA.
