CHENNAI: Karaikudi Kaalai beat Dindigul Dragons by seven runs at ICL Grounds in Tirunelveli on Monday. Posting a target of 150/7, Karaikudi’s opener Vishal Vaidya shared the vital partnerships of 34 and 31 with Srinivasan and skipper Badrinath, respectively, after the early exit of Rajkumar R. Mohan Prasath who was bowling the final over bounced back with three wickets from the last four deliveries to produce third victory for Karaikudi Kaalai in the tournament and are placed third in the table.
