HYDERABAD: Virat Kohli presented the picture of a determined captain during India's first practice session at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Monday.

The superstar went through a rigorous practice session with his teammates as the one-off Test against Bangladesh kicks off on February 9.

What particularly came to light was the skipper's eagerness towards polishing his batting skills as he wielded the willow twice in the nets even as other Indian batsmen chose to do it only once. Cheteshwar Pujara said that the Tigers cannot be taken lightly.

"We can't take them lightly. We are the No 1 team in the world and we would like to maintain that. We played really well last year and to emulate those performances would be great," he said.
