FIFA to visit India to inspect World Cup preparation

They will be inspecting each of the six stadiums and all the designated training sites in each city to evaluate the progress made.

MARGAO: A 13-member strong FIFA delegation led by Event Manager and Project leader for FIFA U-17 World Cup, Marion Mayer-Vorfelder and Tracy Lu respectively will be visiting India between October 19th and 25th.      

This will be the second full inspection from FIFA for the tournament. They will be inspecting each of the six stadiums and all the designated training sites in each city to evaluate the progress made towards the preparation for the FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in India in September-October next year.      

The delegates will have inspection in Kochi on 19th October, Navi Mumbai (20th October), Goa (22nd October), New Delhi (23th October), Guwahati (24th) and Kolkata on 25th October.
