CHENNAI: Half-centuries from Shoaib Md Khan (89), Adhithya Giridhar (82), Punit Bisht (65) and K Syed Shahabuddin (64) helped TI Cycles Sports and Recreation Club defeat Nelson Sports Club by 167 runs in the Second Division Elite championship match of the TNCA league. Both teams have been promoted to the First Division of the TNCA league for the coming season.

TNCA scorers examination
Tamil Nadu Cricket Association will conduct a scorers examination on June 25 at the MA Chidambaram in Chennai. Candidates aged between 18 and 40 years can apply. The cut-off date for lower age limit is April 1, 1999 and that of upper one is April 1, 1977. Preparatory classes for candidates appearing for the examination will be conducted on June 11 and 18  at the office of TNCA. Application forms can be collected from the state association office, and last date for submission is June 5.

Sushanthika shines
C Sushanthika’s 64 enabled Abdul Malik Cricket Academy to beat Madras Gladiator Cricket Academy B by 89 runs in the LMCA Trophy, played at Little Masters-KVT grounds, Madhavaram. V Aniruth chipped in with 46 runs for the winners.
