WARANGAL: Staunch Jagan loyalists Konda Surekha (MLA) and her husband K Murali (MLC) declared here today that they would quit neither the legislature nor the Congress party. Speaking to mediapersons on arrival at their native village of Vanchanagiri in Geesukonda mandal, they, however, wanted Congress president Sonia Gandhi to answer the several queries raised by YS Jaganmohan Reddy in his letter. “People have serious doubts and apprehensions over the reasons for Rajasekhara Reddy’s death in a helicopter crash, and the AICC has not, till date, cleared these doubts.’’ She blamed the party high command for creating a situation wherein Jagan had no option but to quit. By luring YS Vivekananda Reddy with a ministerial position, the party leadership was creating differences among the members of the late Rajasekhara Reddy’s family, she alleged. Terming Jagan’s exit from the party as a heavy loss to the Congress, she said that they would finalise their future course of action after Jagan returned from Idupulapaya.
