HYDERABAD: Against the backdrop of airing of criticism of party chief Sonia Gandhi by a TV channel owned by dissident MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Congress Legislature Party in Andhra Pradesh would be meeting tomorrow.

The meeting, to be attended by Union Law Minister M Veerappa Moily who is in-charge of Congress affairs in the state, would be held at 6:30 pm tomorrrow, Congress chief whip M Bhatti Vikramarka told PTI.

"Union Minister and our in-charge Veerappa Moily wanted to speak to the legislators. We are holding a meeting of CLP tomorrow. Party affairs are likely to be discussed," he said.

The decision to hold the meeting of CLP came hours after Chief Minister K Rosaiah met the top brass of the party, including Sonia Gandhi's political secretary Ahmed Patel and Defence Minister A K Antony, in New Delhi earlier today.

The CLP meeting is expected to condemn the story telecast on Sakshi news channel criticising Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as also the persistant defiance of the Kadapa MP over the party's directives on his controversial Odarpu yatras.
