TIRUPATI: National Cadets Corps (NCC) will increase its present cadet strength to 50 lakh from 13 lakh in the next five years, said its director general Lt Gen PS Balla. Speaking to mediapersons after visiting NCC national trek camp on the Vedic University campus here on Wednesday, Balla said the NCC has resolved to increase its strength four times in a phased manner as part of its massive expansion programme aimed at churning out more number of disciplined youth.

He said that various new training course like disaster management have been included.
