HYDERABAD: Disputing Union home minister P Chidambaram’s statement that consensus was needed for T, Telangana Telugu Desam Forum convenor E Dayakar Rao said Congress manifesto did not speak about any consensus. Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Dayakar Rao said that Chidambaram and other Congress leaders were making contradictory statements on T and deceiving people of the region. Stating that the TDP was committed for T state, Dayakar Rao recalled that PCC chief Botcha had admitted that Congress did not make its stand clear. He recalled Congress MP Ponnam saying that Congress would be the first culprit, if T was not carved out. He reiterated that TDP MLAs would submit their resignations once again, but wanted other parties also to do the same.
