WARANGAL: An engineering student, Sambari Naveen (19), hanged himself to death reportedly for the cause of Telangana at his house at Tarigoppula in Narmetta mandal on Monday evening even while a candle light rally was being taken out by the Telangana political JAC in Jangaon urging youths not to end lives but to fight for separate state.
The rally was taken out to pay tributes to Ashok, a native of Veerannapet, who died consuming pesticide for the cause of Telangana two days ago. Ashok’s last rites were performed on Sunday evening.
Police recovered a suicide note having the thumb impression of Naveen in which he wanted the Centre to carve out Telangana soon.Naveen was studying B.Tech first year (computer sciences) in Kreestu Jyothi Engineering College. There was none in the home when Naveen took extreme step.
