ANANTAPUR: CBI officer Sudhakar visited Anantapur town on Monday to question two persons in connection with former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy’s case. He went to question Janardhan Reddy’s PA Chandrasekhar and Anand Reddy, who also worked in the same position albeit without any designation.

The CBI had issued notices to the duo to appear before it on April 3, but both of them failed to turn up. With the help of Three Town police, the CBI officer went to Chandrasekhar’s house. As he was not in the house, his wife Jayalakshmi was summoned to the police station.

Jayalakshmi told the officer that she was not aware of her husband’s whereabouts. They ordered her to inform about her husband’s whereabouts in three days. Later, Jayalakshmi alleged that the officer behaved in a high-handed manner with her and questioned her in the absence of a woman constable.
