KADAPA: Four persons died in a road mishap near Prakash Nagar at Pullampet mandal in the early hours of Saturday.

Lakshminarayana (36), a government employee from Medak district, was on a pilgrimage to Tirumala along with his family members. He was going there to get two of his children, a two-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son, tonsured to keep a vow he had made to Lord Venkteshwara. He, with his family and relatives, set off for Tirumala by two cars. When they were passing Prakash Nagar, their vehicles rammed into another one which was parked by the roadside.  Lakshminarayana, his mother Munevva (60), close relatives Sridhar (35) and Renuka (28) died on the spot. His wife and two children, two other relatives, and car driver suffered injuries.
