HYDERABAD: With chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s visit to Delhi on Tuesday having been finalised, there is intense speculation that he might put forth his request to the party high command for a reshuffle of his cabinet so that he could have a team of his own.

The chief minister will be leaving for Delhi at 4.15 pm and will confer with AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad and party president Sonia Gandhi.

According to indications available now, the chief minister does not want the cabinet exercise limited to just the induction of PRP MLAs. Even for inclusion of one of the two legislators, C Ramachandraiaha, there is opposition from Congress leaders in Kadapa district. Chiranjeevi himself had told his two PRP MLAs G Srinivasa Rao and Ramachandraiah that he had requested the party leadership to take them into the state cabinet on January 19.
