TIRUPATI: Dravidian University, Kuppam, has declared all undergraduate and post-graduate (distance education mode) exams conducted at four centres in the state in January as null and void and has decided to re-conduct them in the last week of February.

The candidates at four centres - NSV Degree College, Jagathyala, Oriental Educational Academy, Zaheerabad, Bhuvana Vijayam College, Nandyala and Narendra Women's Degree College, Armoor - are said to have indulged in mass copying in the exams held on January 3, 4 and 5.

The decision to declare these exams as void was taken after checking squad members confirmed the irregularities and media reports also indicated the same. In all, 1,700 students wrote the exams in these four centres.

The University will now conduct the exam in February last week and has  asked students to submit application forms and the required exam fee to the university. The exams will be held in government degree colleges in the district headquarters.
