A person approached the Cyberabad police on Tuesday alleging that he was sexually harassed for four years by Yadagiri Rao, the suspect in the cash-for-bail case.
Nacharam inspector Devender said the 27-year-old man, K Naveen Kumar from Madhurawada of Visakhapatnam, aspired to be a film actor and came into contact with Yadagiri.
“Yadagiri used to call Naveen to his house and after consuming liquor, he used to force the victim into sex,’’ the inspector said.
Naveen Kumar told the police he was threatened that the sexual acts were recorded on tape and would be made public.
Police have booked a case against Yadagiri under Section 377 of the IPC.
