Twenty persons,including five schoolchildren, were injured when the RTC bus they were travelling rammed a culvert and overturned at Thimmapur village in Ibrahimpatnam mandal on Monday.
The incident occurred at around 8.30 a.m. when the bus was proceeding to Metpalli from Mula Rampur.
According to Ibrahimpatnam police, the mishap occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle when it reached the culvert.
The injured were admitted to Jagtial Area Hospital. One of the injured was later shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. Additional JC Sunder Abnar called on the injured at the area hospital.
