NELLORE: Exuding confidence that his party candidate in Kovur by-election would win, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu stated that the by-poll result will herald drastic changes in the political scenario of the state.

Launching his party campaign at Pothireddy Palem in Kovur constituency, he urged voters to be more prudent while exercising their franchise, as this was crucial for the state's future.

He cautioned voters that they would face hardships in coming days, if they failed to be alert in exercising their voting rights.

Dubbing YSR Congress candidate, N Prasanna Kumar as a turncoat, he said that “voters should keep him out and that he is a politician ready for sale, in addition to being a character-less politician”.

Blaming both YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and K Chandrasekhar Rao for the instability in the state, as they are encouraging undesirable elements for the sake of power, he cautioned voters against lure of money by the YSRCP.

He alleged that YSRCP is preparing to give `2,000 per vote at the Kovur election.

The TDP chief surprised every one by his repeated, earnest appeal addressing women as "ammalara", "akkalara" and urging them to vote for cycle, the party symbol in the every meeting.
