RAJAHMUNDRY: The APSRTC is planning to operate Indra AC buses between Rajahmundry and Kakinada.
At present, the RTC is running super-luxury, deluxe and express non-stop bus services between the two cities from 6 am to 10 pm.
There is a non-stop bus service between Rajahmundry and Kakinada for every 10 minutes.
The occupancy rate in non-stop bus services is high.
Hence, the RTC has decided to run Indra AC non-stop bus services, said regional manager G Ramakanth.
The Indra bus fare is likely to be Rs 80.
The fare for super-luxury, deluxe and express non-stop bus services ranges from Rs 33 to Rs 45.
The RTC is also running non-stop bus services between Kakinada and Amalapuram and Rajahmundry and Vijayawada.
Buoyed by the good response from the travelling public to the non-stop bus services, the RTC is contemplating running more nonstop bus services to some other places, he said.
