Jumbling

The state government has decided to implement jumbling system in the Intermediate practical examinations from this year and to conduct an entrance examination for admission to the AP Residential Educational Institutions Society (APREI) schools from 2013-14.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday,  secondary education minister K Parthasarathy said they would write a letter to the central government soon seeking a formal permission to conduct the APREI admission test.

The minister said Intermediate students can write Sanskrit examination in any script  this year but should write it only in the Devanagari script from next year.

He said the three regional centres of excellence proposed at Guntur, Mahbunagar and Nalgonda would start functioning from the next academic year.
