2 women die as car hits them

Two persons died and four others including a one-year-old child was injured in a road mishap at Vangapally in Yadagirigutta mandal on Monday. According to police, the deceased were identified as Ramulamma (23) and Lakshmi (17),  residents of Kothapeta in Warangal district.

The incident occurred when the women walking towards Vangapally were hit by a car coming from Bhongir. The car driver lost control over the vehicle and hit a roadside tree.

The two women died on the spot while Ramulamma’s one-year-old daughter whom she is carrying and three others who are travelling in the car were injured.  The injured were shifted to Bhongir area hospital. Yadagirigutta CI Madhusudhan Reddy registered a case and is investigating.
