In view of the brewing cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, district administrations of south coastal districts - Nellore, Prakasam, Guntur and Krishna - have been put on high alert. The depression over southwest Bay of Bengal has moved west-southwest and would intensify into a cyclonic storm. Rainfall, likely to be heavy, is expected in the four districts. The storm is expected to enter the continent between Nellore and Nagapatnam in Tamil Nadu by Wednesday.
