The conflict between students’ organisations and the management of Audishankara Techno School, near Leela Mahal junction, has snowballed into a major controversy on Tuesday.

While, students’ unions staged a protest by forming into a human chain at the Town Club junction demanding action against the school management for violating guidelines, teachers and parents of school children approached the Tirupati urban SP’s office seeking protection for students from the attacks of student union activists.

On the advice of a top police officer, the parents and teachers went to Alipiri police station, where cases had been registered against some union activists as well as the management.

The management allegedly attacked the union activists after they damaged the school furniture.
