Convenor of EdCET-2012 N Venkata Rao has said that the candidates who have obtained ranks in the exams are required to be present on the notified date and time at the helpline centres with all the certificates and processing fee. Certificate verification will be held from Friday.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he said based on their ranks, the candidates have been invited to attend registration and verification process at any helpline centre. Hall-ticket, rank card, provisional degree certificate and memorandum of marks along with pass certificate of Intermediate or its equivalent, SSC certificate, study certificates from Class IX to graduation, residence certificate for 7 years preceding the qualifying degree in respect of candidates who have undergone private study without any institutionalised education are mandatory.
He said the integrated community certificate, residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in Andhra Pradesh excluding the period of their employment outside Andhra Pradesh issued by tahsildar should be produced by the candidates. Non-local candidates should bring the transfer certificate and income certificate obtained from tahsildar after January 1, 2012. Similarly, candidates belonging to minority community should come with the relevant certificate issued by the competent authority.
The convenor said online options begin on September 15 and seat allotment on September 30 and October 1. After allotment of seats, fee should be paid by the student at the respective colleges. The students should report at their respective colleges on or before October 10.
