Kakatiya Utsavalu from November: Ponnala

Kakatiya Utsavalu will be held from November this year to make people know about the greatness of Kakatiya rulers who ruled this place, according to IT minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah. All arrangements are being made for the year-long festival.  He said that proposals have been sent to UNESCO to recognise the 800-year-old Ramappa temple and Warangal Fort as heritage structures.

International Dance Festival

An international Perini-Andhra Natyam dance festival will be held in Warangal in March next year, the minister said. The dance festival would be held with the help of SiliconAndhra of California, USA. The organisation has decided to organise the festival to increase patronage to Perini Thandavam dance form. All Perini and Andhra Natyam artistes would be invited for the festival. “Mana Telangana, a dance ballet, will be held under the aegis of SiliconAndhra in California on October 6,” he said.

Meet For Entrepreneurs

The minister said that an awareness meeting will be held with potential entrepreneurs to promote industrialisation in Warangal district on November 14.
